rachel and i had the same thought at the same moment:

thanksgiving

in the car:

m: i think your sister is bringing a cheese ball.
s: i'm going to eat that cheese ball.
r: yes. i'm going to eat the hell out of that cheese ball.

done and done.

today at weaver street

i failed--despite a) receiving detailed instructions on the matter and b) having at some point graduated from preschool--to successfully utilize a standard pair of scissors.

today's minor weaver street tragedies

• forgot about, mostly missed, the wiener dog show;


• overheard someone use the word "dasein" in conversation;


• saw a grown man wearing an enormous hat with fuzzy bunny ears.
